Plan your charter
A little planning makes a great day even better. Here is everything you need to know before you step aboard.
Your charter departs Harbour Town Yacht Basin in Sea Pines. Gear, tackle and licenses are provided. Bring food, drinks, sunscreen and hats, plan for public parking, and arrive a few minutes early. Available times are set when you book your date.
What's included
- Private boat for up to six guests
- All rods, reels, tackle and terminal gear
- Fishing licenses covered for the charter
- Bait and ice
- Your catch cleaned at the docks
- Shade, seating and an onboard head
What to bring
- Whatever food and drinks you would like (alcohol is welcome)
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
- A light layer or rain jacket, just in case
- Soft-soled, non-marking shoes
- A camera or phone for the photos
Choosing a trip length
Three to four hours suits families and a relaxed nearshore outing. Six to eight hours gives you time to run offshore and chase more. Unsure? Ian will help you decide.
Nearshore or offshore?
Nearshore means calmer, protected water close to home. Offshore runs farther for bigger fish and deeper structure. Both are great, for different days.
Onboard comfort
Shade for the midday sun, comfortable seating and an onboard head keep everyone happy, even on longer trips.
Year-round fishing

Weather and safety
Ian watches conditions closely and safety comes first. If the weather turns unsafe, a trip may need to be adjusted or rescheduled. Questions? Just ask.

How booking works
Requesting your trip
Booking is a request, not an instant reservation. You send your preferred date and details, Ian confirms an available time and the plan, and your trip is set. Available time options are provided when you book, once you choose your date.

Grab breakfast or coffee before you shove off, or a waterfront lunch after.
The lighthouse
Non-fishing family can climb the Harbour Town Lighthouse for the view.
Shops & strolling
Boutiques and galleries ring the marina, with the yacht basin as a backdrop.
